This project sought to boost the capacity of CSOs, the private sector and the media in the region. This was done in the objective of contributing to conflict prevention in the Transnistria region and to strengthen the role of CSOs and networks in facilitating the peaceful conciliation of groups of interest so as to favour the creation of social mechanisms of conflict prevention.
Results
- More than 2000 people were mobilised around 18 initiatives in 52 communities and over 5000 were indirect beneficiaries of the initiative.
- Over 450 people benefited from training and workshops on advocacy, community mobilisation and networking.
- 40 partnership agreements were signed between NGOs and local authorities contributing to a greater engagement of the both duty bearers and rights holders in addressing challenges identified through participatory processes.
