The European Partnership for Democracy is recruiting a Project Coordinator and a Project Officer to establish and manage its Civil Society Secretariat in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). The Secretariat will serve as a link between pan-African civil society initiatives and organs and processes of the African Governance Architecture (AGA) within The Charter Project Africa. The project aims to empower civil society across Africa in representing citizens at the continental level, working with the AGA, and promoting democratic governance in the African Union member states. It is implemented by a consortium of six organisations: European Partnership for Democracy, Africtivistes, Code for Africa, Democracy Works Foundation, Goree Institute and ECDPM.

elbarlament is hiring a Part-Time (50%) Project Officer based in Berlin, from 1st May until 31 December 2021 (contract extension possible). The Project Officer will work together with the Project Manager in the cultural project “Female Artists: Creators of Social Change”, which is implemented by elbarlament in Iraq and comprises film-related workshops, an exhibition and a festival.
