Marek Bazin

Programmes Officer

Marek Bazin is a French-Polish elections enthusiast who joined EPD as a Programmes Officer in 2024. He is responsible for two EU-funded electoral assistance projects in Liberia and Burundi, implemented with the support of other partner organisations (WFD, DRI, EDGE Foundation, Election-Watch.EU, NIMD). Alongside his career at EPD, Marek is also an international election observer and a member of the OSCE Pool of Young Experts. Prior to joining EPD, he worked as a Senior Project Officer and Electoral Advisor in the electoral assistance field, managing projects in Chad, Central African Republic and Comoros. Marek holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and an MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe. He also holds a Specialised degree in Administration of Elections from the Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
