Leon Hemkemeyer

Head of Programmes

Leon Hemkemeyer is EPD’s Head of Programmes and joined the organisation in February 2016. Prior to joining EPD, he worked for the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and Democracy Reporting International (DRI). He studied political science in the United States, Egypt and Germany and earned a Master’s degree at the Freie Universität Berlin in 2015. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Evaluation. He speaks German, English and French.
