Florina Duru

Finance and Programmes Assistant

Florina Duru has been a Finance and Programmes Assistant at EPD since March 2023. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Bucharest, a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Paris-Est Créteil, a Master’s in European Studies from Babeș-Bolyai University, and a Master’s in Transition Analysis and Electoral Engineering from Lumière University Lyon 2. Before joining EPD, Florina worked at the European Commission as part of her Bluebook traineeship with DG INTPA. She also served as a Project Officer at ECES and previously worked as a Project Assistant for the OIF’s Representation to the EU. Additionally, she has gained significant experience in election assistance and observation with the Electoral Assistance Division of the Council of Europe, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Parliament, as well as with local NGOs in Tunisia and Romania specialising in electoral observation. In Romania, she coordinated the network of Francophone election observers, Les Observateurs.
