MEMO 98

MEMO 98 is a specialist organization in media monitoring, elections, and democracy support, based in Slovakia. Established in 1998, it promotes transparency, accountability, and informed public debate by providing expert analysis of media and digital communication during elections and beyond. With over 27 years of experience and more than 150 projects in some 60 countries, MEMO 98 has become a trusted partner of international institutions such as the OSCE/ODIHR, European Union, Council of Europe, UNESCO, IFES, NDI, and UNDP. The organization combines research, capacity building, and advocacy to counter disinformation, strengthen media integrity, and enhance civic engagement through innovative digital tools and the promotion of quality journalism.
