Club de Madrid is the world’s largest forum of democratic former Presidents and Prime Ministers, who leverage their individual and collective leadership experience and global reach to strengthen inclusive democratic practice and improve the well-being of people around the world. Beyond Beijing: Rethinking Women’s Political Participation

Club de Madrid and the European Democracy Hub have undertaken this project to take stock of 30 years of women’s political participation and leadership, assessing the progress made while also identifying persistent barriers that hinder women from increasing their role in senior decision-making. The report draws in part on 12 interviews with Members of Club de Madrid, former heads of state and government from Argentina, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Finland, New Zealand, Senegal, Slovenia, and Sweden.

Regional Meeting: Transformative Leadership and Inclusive Democracy

Club de Madrid organised a regional meeting in Montevideo, Uruguay, titled “Transformative Leadership and Inclusive Democracy” at the Spanish Cooperation Training Center (AECID). This meeting gathered leaders from Latin America and Spain, and experts from international organisations to share strategies and experiences to promote inclusive, violence-free democracies.

IT Management and Administration Consultant

The European Partnership for Democracy (EPD) is contracting a Consultant to provide IT management and administration services for a 3-year period. The Consultant will assume overall responsibility for managing and administering EPD’s IT infrastructure. S/he will work under the supervision of EPD Head of Finances andAdministration and in regular coordination with EPD team members on a needs-basis.

The assignment will be conducted over a period of three years, ideally starting in August 2026. The Service Provider will be based in the Brussels area (within 30 km of the EPD offices), with required travel to EPD offices located at 123-133, Rue Froissart, B-1040, at least a couple of time every month during the assignment to carry out project activities.

Prospective tenderers are invited to submit the complete application package as separate documents as detailed below. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The tender package should include:

A technical offer, consisting of:

  • the application form duly filled in and signed;
  • the CV;
  • a list of previous assignments and clients.

A financial offer, consisting of the daily rate in EUR, including all applicable taxes.
