Sandra Khadhouri

Communications & Events Coordinator

Sandra has engaged in communications and campaigns throughout her career, working with organisations and governments on strategy, media relations and coalition-building. Her thematic focus includes democratisation, conflict resolution, foreign policy and international law, based on roles in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Kosovo, Somalia and Georgia. She is passionate about fighting disinformation and injustice, and joined EPD to build support for democracy, tolerance and human rights worldwide. Sandra also leads a Brussels-based network called “Keeping Channels Open”, aimed at supporting cooperation between the UK, EU and U.S. in an era of fragmentation, populism and geopolitical change. She was also a journalist for a decade, working for CNN, Euronews and Sky News and in documentaries.
