The Czech legal framework of party finances and its implementation is a valuable case study for Ukraine, as it seeks to improve its relevant regulation mechanisms, according to this EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy analysis. The author also argues that Ukrainian civil society has an important role as the country moves to adopt a Czech-style system of public financing of political parties.
