ALDA capitalizes 15 years experience in Western Balkans

On 9 June 2015, in Prijedor, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the International conference „Promoting citizen participation in democratic local policy-making in Western Balkans: status and perspectives?“ will take place. This conference will be held in the framework of the project DECIDE – Democratic Compact: Improving Democracy in Europe, which promotes citizen participation in public life and in the decision making process at the local level.

The key European and local stakeholders will gather together and assess the achievements and challenges ahead in the EU integration process in Western Balkans. The conference will  launch the final three day activity of the project DECIDE which is funded by the Europe for Citizens programme, and led by ALDA – the European Association for Local Democracy.

We are looking forward to this interesting event and the organizational team is working intensively to assure the smooth course of the three days event in Prijedor!
