AWEPA has been implementing capacity building programmes for the National Legislative Assembly and the States in South Sudan since 2007. The overall objective of AWEPA’s work in South Sudan has been to contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development and reconstruction in South Sudan, through strengthening the capacity of Parliament, and also the State Assemblies. These manuals were originally written for the participants and trainers benefitting from the training of the councils of Central Equatoria and Western Equatoria States of South Sudan.
