Welcome to the EPD Community!

Dear practitioners, dear friends,

It is a pleasure to launch our new website which marks the start of a new era at the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD)!

We have re-shaped our website so it not only corresponds to our work, but also facilitates your search for valuable information and offers you a means of exchange with us.

As a Community of Practice, we are here to provide you with the latest information and news regarding democracy assistance, gather key ideas and initiatives, help build projects and collaborations that make sense, and correspond to reality in order to deliver.

We needed a place to make this happen, and now you have it!

We hope this website will be a useful tool that will enrich your own work by enabling you to search our key project information, learn about our partners’ tremendous efforts to advance democracy in the world, use the information gathered to structure your country analyses, and contact us to support your campaigns and increase your visibility.

Democracy without dialogue doesn’t exist. It is for this reason that we must be open and accessible at all times to nurture your inspiration and develop fruitful partnerships.

It’s a privilege to be Executive Director of this organisation because the team is creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated to our partners and the support of democracy. Without them, and their eagerness to make this website a reality, we wouldn’t have had the pleasure to start this new phase of our institution’s life. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for this, and all they do at EPD.

You can already find us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Soon, you will also be able to comment on our articles and opinions through LinkedIn.

This website is a work in progress as both practice and technology evolve, so please feel free to send us your suggestions, ideas or remarks!

Nicolas
Executive Director
