ESPO is a policy-oriented and web-based platform, building on a network of expertise in Europe and beyond. It aims to improve the debate on the EU’s strategic partnerships by monitoring their evolution, comparatively assessing their uneven performance and focusing on the linkages between bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation

In addition to a regular stream of analytical publications, the ESPO website includes two unique features. First, a large interactive database containing a number of indicators on various aspects of the bilateral partnerships, as well as key statistics concerning partner countries. Second, a mapping of all the dialogues established between the EU and its strategic partners, providing an overview of the main issues and key interlocutors.
